Say hello to my new toy! =D
The latest in the PSP range - the PSP SLIM.
It's fantastic I'd say - especially when there are geniuses out there who have managed to tweak the firmware for a whole realm of unlimited possibilities for gaming, video, music, storage.
And for the gaming-adolescent-trapped-in-middle-aged-man-body me, I'd say it's a perfect match.

So short of being a complete loser,
One can claim to be content, being luckier.
Since in this day and at this age -
Far and few are opportunities of being first.
Fortunate to just survive everyday corporate carnage -
Sadly - scores like these satisfies one's thirst.

This is nostalgic. Though I never had a set of my own, I distinctly remembered gathering at the back of shophouses after school to watch classmates play.
It was supposedly an 'illegal' commercial activity and had to be conducted at the back of provision shops, which rented out their Nintendo sets for half hour slots at a time.
Perhaps then in primary school the average heartlander family could not afford such luxuries like Nintendo sets.
Having said that, if you watch this video, and if you had any idea how the gameplay worked, you'd have to agree with me that the person who did the video was a master of the game - his timing's impeccable!

This was a hard fought season.
And finishing under 2000 - position 1701 to be exact, in the 99th percentile, gave me some comfort.
With the end of yet another season it hails the impending 3 months of football drought, with fans all over the world just waking up each day sourcing for any piecemeal information on transfers and takeovers.

This intriguing construction supposedly illustrates the possibilities of a 4th dimension, which many have believed to be Time, but in this case it is the turning inside-out of the original form that achieves the 4th, internal dimension.
